Like father, like daughter? Kristen Bell's baby girl, Lincoln Bell Shepard, is still very, very new to the world, but she's already taking after dad Dax Shepard. On Thursday, March 28, shortly after the Parenthood actor broke the news of Lincoln's birth, Bell took to Twitter with a joke about her little bundle of joy.
"My new roomate poops her pants and doesn't pay rent...basically Dax Shepard pre-sobriety," the House of Lies actress quipped. "Welcome baby Lincoln xo."
Shepard, 38, heralded his daughter's birth via Twitter just an hour before Bell's tweet. "Lincoln Bell Shepard is here," he wrote. "She has mom's beauty and dad's obsession with breasts. Hooray!"
Lincoln is the first child for the actor and his fiancee, 32. The couple, who have been engaged since 2009, announced that they were expecting last November. Bell maintained her sense of humor throughout the pregnancy, joking that she was "367 pounds" and wanted to be knocked out during childbirth.
"I feel like, when I arrive at the hospital, I want a glass of whiskey, I want the epidural in my back and I want to get hit in the face with a baseball bat," the Veronica Mars star told Ellen DeGeneres in January. "Wake me up when it's over because I've seen the videos -- and it looks terrifying."
