It's a girl for Kelly Clarkson and husband Brandon Blackstock! The couple married in October 2013 and announced their first pregnancy soon after. Clarkson, 31, is currently 4 months along, and took to Twitter on Jan. 20 to reveal the gender of her baby.
"We just found out we're having a girl officially! I knew it! Only a girl could cause this much drama with all this vomiting ha!" she tweeted.
The "Tie It Up" singer has been publicly predicting her baby's gender even before she announced she was expecting. In a November 2013 issue of Parade Magazine, the American Idol alum said, "I'm totally gonna have a girl. I'm manifesting it! And when I have a girl, you're gonna be like, 'That chick knew it!'"
But her pregnancy hasn't been all fun and games. As the baby gender tweet suggests, Clarkson admittedly has, like Duchess Kate Middleton and millions of moms before them, dealt with severe morning sickness.
"I vomit a dozen times a day. It's like bad. I vomited before coming out here," she revealed last month on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. "It's so bad. It's, like, so gross. You're not attractive when you're pregnant. Everybody tells you [that] you glow and your hair is pretty and your nails are pretty. That's total crap."
