Ke$ha is taking some time off to seek treatment for an eating disorder, according to Us Weekly. She reportedly checked into the Timberline Knolls rehab center near Chicago, Illinois, this weekend and plans to stay for 30 days.
"I'm a crusader for being yourself and loving yourself, but I've found it hard to practice," she said in a statement. "I'll be unavailable for the next 30 days, seeking treatment for my eating disorder. . . to learn to love myself again, exactly as I am."
The news comes on the tail end of a busy period for the glitter-loving singer, whose reality show My Crazy Beautiful Life aired its second season on MTV this past fall. On New Year's Eve, she dropped her directorial debut for her new video "Dirty Love," the latest single off her 2012 album, Warrior. "Timber," her single with Pitbull, also continues to do well and just shot to the top of the U.K. singles chart. Her next live performance is scheduled for Dubai on February 13th.
