Fans will see a whoooole lot more of Kristen Stewart than ever before in her upcoming film, On the Road, and she wants everyone to know that she's perfectly fine with letting it all hang out.
That's right, the 22-year-old told the panel gathered at a Cannes Film Festival press conference today that she had no qualms about appearing topless—in fact, she says she "wanted to do it."
"I love pushing myself. I love scaring myself. I've always wanted to get as close to an experience as I could," she explained of playing her randy character Marylou. "I'm usually self-conscious about running around town with my face hanging out, but I got to live more in those four weeks than I ever usually do in my life."
Joining K-Stew in her raciest role yet are actors Garrett Hedlund, Sam Riley, Viggo Mortensen and Kirsten Dunst. The feature-film adaptation of Jack Kerouac's 1957 classic novel marks the very first time On the Road has ever hit the big screen—a whopping fifty-five years after its initial publication.
An American release date has yet to be set.
