To each their own, then.
Jennifer Aniston may not like it when cameras follow her every move, but the Hollywood A-lister says she doesn’t see anything wrong with reality stars who willingly choose to live their lives that way.
"There's nothing wrong with Kim Kardashian and all those people," she says in a new documentary, $ellebrity. "If that's how they choose to make a living, more power to them."
"My line of work is different," she adds. "I want to entertain people."
Aniston, 43, is one of an entire roster of bold-faced names who open up to photographer Kevin Mazur in his new documentary, which chronicles the realities of living life in the public eye.
The former Friends star waxed nostalgic about the glamour of old Hollywood and primping for big events.
"At the premiere of something, the studios would hire photographers," she says. "But it was gracefully waiting [and asking], 'May I take a picture?' It was all agreed upon."
By contrast, Kardashian, 32, has invited cameras into her home and everyday life since her family's show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, premiered in October 2007.
Now that she's pregnant with boyfriend Kanye West's baby, however, Kardashian is singing a different tune.
"She doesn't even want the baby to be seen for the first six months," a source tells Us Weekly, adding that Kardashian is "ready to dial back from being so public." The insider adds that the first-time parents-to-be "have decided as a family that their baby is not going to be on the shows."
