Jared Leto must be getting pretty accustomed to wearing women's clothing. The actor, who plays a transsexual in his upcoming film Dallas Buyers Club, put on the lashes and lipstick once again for Terry Richardson's Candy magazine photo shoot.
Leto told ET this past year that he sees women differently after taking on this challenging role. "It's a lot of work to be a pretty little girl. I have a newfound respect for women in general," he confessed at The IFP Gotham Independent Film Awards.
"I waxed my entire body, including my eyebrows. I've lost a lot of weight because I'm playing a young person with AIDS. It's been challenging but really inspiring too," Leto said back in Nov. 2012 while the film was still in production. "I haven't made a movie in five years. I thought it was a beautifully written script [and] a wonderful character, who I just fell in love with. I figured if I was going to come back and act again, this was the one to do it."
Leto, 41, isn't the first to pose in drag for the magazine. James Franco also covered the publication in 2010.
