He's hitched! Mad Men star Jared Harris has tied the knot with his fiancee Allegra Riggio, sources confirm to Us Weekly. The two said "I do" on a yacht in Miami on Saturday, Nov. 9.
"Just married. <3 #TeamHarris #Jally #MarriageEnsued," the new bride confirmed via Twitter. Riggio also shared a picture of the newlyweds kissing -- while she wore angel wings!
Harris, 51, proposed to Riggio in June with a custom-made ring by Erica Courtney, featuring a heart-shaped diamond in a rose gold setting.
Last month, the blushing bride-to-be revealed exclusively to Us how the couple first met and fell in love. "Jared and I met at Bar Lubitsch in April 2009," Riggio told Us. "He was suffering through the final throes of a particularly nasty divorce, and I was at my lowest, most miserable moment. I had moved to L.A. for love, and it was not going as planned. That evening I was desperate for a laugh. Jared had the same thought, and we ended up making the same decision to peel ourselves off our respective couches to see a mutual friend visiting from NYC do stand-up."
"At the end of the show, all the people who had come out to support our comedian pal met up and continued having a laugh well into the night," she continued. "Much champagne was enjoyed, friends were made, and that's when Jared and I met."
The next night, Riggio returned to the same bar and bumped into the actor once again. After splitting from her boyfriend, a friendship between Harris and Riggio soon began, which eventually turned into something more.
"We just wanted to do everything together," Riggio gushed. "Then, against all rhyme or reason and all the odds, our heavily damaged hearts began to heal. Laughter, as they say, truly is the best medicine. We fell in love and swore never to speak of marriage, as our last relationships ruined the thought of it."
