Pastel hues aren't the only 80's trend making a major comeback this spring. Several fashion-forward celebs are stepping out in bold patterned jeans.
Katie Holmes was spotted in a pair of pale pink rose-print Current/Elliot stiletto jeans with a Etoile Isabel Marant shirt and tap strappy sandals. ($216, revolveclothing.com)
Supermodel Miranda Kerr turned heads when she rocked blue leopard Current/Elliot stiletto jeans with a gray cropped Dries Van Noten jacket. ($204, shopbop.com)
Fashionista Olivia Palermo showed off her enviable sartorial skills, working Paige Verdugo ultraskinny jeans in Tumble. ($199, paigeusa.com)
And Gwen Stefani worked snakeskin David Khan straight leg jeans with a bright pink leather jacket, open-toed booties and a L.A.M.B. purse. ($184, lonnys.com)
The key to pulling off printed bottoms is to keep them the focus of your outfit, says Us Weekly Fashion Director Sasha Charnin Morrison. For an edgy, modern look, style them with a chic tee and sky-high platforms or tan suede booties.
"Make sure the jeans fit perfectly, not too long or too tight," she advises. "And don't mix contrasting prints."
