Eminem is no stranger to the big show, winning three Moonmen since attending his first VMAs in 2002. The hip hop star took home an award for Best Video from a Film for "Lose Yourself" in 2003, and Best Hip-Hop Video for "Not Afraid" and Best Collaboration for "Love The Way You Lie" featuring Rihanna in 2011. The eight-time nominee also opened up the 2010 VMAs with his "Not Afraid" track, with Rihanna later joining him for a duet of their hit.

The Detroit, Michigan native is set to release his eighth album this fall. He announced the news -- with no exact date or title given -- at a Call of Duty press conference in mid-August. The MTV Video Music Awards air live on Sunday, Aug. 25, at 9 p.m. EST.
