Brad Pitt Defends His Chanel Ad

Brad Pitt might have raised a few eyebrows - and been the butt of a few jokes - with his Chanel No. 5 ad, but the actor is standing by the spots.

Access Hollywood's Michelle Beadle sat down with the actor at the junket for his latest movie, "Killing Them Softly," where he spoke candidly about the perfume campaign.

"I've been overseas, so I've been blissfully protected," the 48-year-old actor said when asked about people's reactions.

"I haven't [seen the parodies], but I say absolutely fair play, fair play," Brad continued.

Despite the ad's random and off-the-wall feel, the actor told Access he enjoyed the final product.

"I kind of liked it... I respect what they do," he said of the fashion house. "They do some really quality things."

Brad might be proud of his Chanel ad, but when asked if he could identify the scent on the street, the actor was less confident.

"That I can't," Brad said.

"Killing Them Softly" hits theaters on November 30, 2012.
