Will Avery Jessup finally escape North Korea?

Elizabeth Banks, who plays the wife of Jack (Alec Baldwin), is set to reprise her role on 30 Rock in May, TVLine reports.

30 Rock to address Kim Jong-II's death in Season 6

Banks last appeared on the NBC comedy last April when — shortly after giving birth to her and Jack's daughter -- Avery was kidnapped by Kim Jong-Il (played on the show by Margaret Cho) while on assignment in North Korea and then forced to marry his son, Kim Jong-un. Earlier this season, series executive producer Robert Carlock said the show would address the real-life death of the late North Korea leader, who died in December.

Most recently, Jack produced a TV movie, Kidnapped By Danger: The Avery Jessup Story, Brought To You With Limited Commercial Interruptions by Pride Bladder Control Pants.  Pride:  Make Every Room a Bathroom, to bring attention to his wife's situation.

Banks, who earned an Emmy nomination for Best Guest Actress in a Comedy for her turn as Avery, currently stars as Effie in The Hunger Games and will next appear in What to Expect When You're Expecting.

30 Rock airs Thursdays at 8:30/7:30c on NBC.
