Damn that Miranda Kerr. It’s not bad enough that she’s a rich supermodel, but she also has a peachy relationship with her ex-husband, Orlando Bloom.

In a new interview, the Australian poser, 32, opened up about her current relationship with Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel and how he gets along with her ex-husband, Orlando Bloom, and their 5-year-old son, Flynn. She also revealed their secret to making it work.

“Flynn was 2 [when Orlando and I separated], so it was really hard to make the decision, but our son is our priority so you have to come from love,” Kerr said in Net-a-Porter’s The Edit. “You have to be kind.”

They decided to call the West Coast home after their divorce. Kerr bought a home in Malibu to be close to Bloom. Last year, at a “work dinner for Louis Vuitton,” she was seated next to tech billionaire Spiegel, 25, and they hit it off. On their first date, they went to a Kundalini yoga class.

“You can’t close yourself off from love. I try to keep my heart open and not feel afraid,“ said Kerr, who described Spiegel as “sweet, really kind, and smart.”

Kerr had to wait half a year to introduce Spiegel to her son, which was a rule she and Bloom agreed on about their relationships.

“We had to know the person for six months and feel good about them,” explained Kerr, who was bringing Spiegel home to Australia for the holidays. “Evan met Flynn, so yeah, things are going well. Orlando thinks he’s great. We’re just a modern family now!”

Kerr also addressed the age difference between herself and her younger beau.

“He’s 25, but he acts like he’s 50,” she said. “He’s not out partying. He goes to work in Venice [Beach], he comes home. We don’t go out. We’d rather be at home and have dinner, go to bed early.”

That said, “in some ways he does” feel like a younger man,” she added. “I’m telling you, I’ve got the best of both worlds!”
