Michelle Obama Reveals What She’s Looking Forward to Most After Leaving the White House

Michelle Obama may be the first lady of fashion, but when it comes to her personal style, she opts for a more casual look. FLOTUS graces the cover of InStyle magazine’s October issue where she reveals that she’s really a T-shirt and jeans kind of gal. One reason for this could be that Michelle’s never been one to follow a trend, something she adheres to on social media as well. The first lady joined Snapchat back in June, with a little help from The Late Late Show host James Corden, but told the mag she shies away from selfies.

“What works for an 18-year-old selfie queen may not for a 52-year-old first lady who is a mom of teenagers she’s trying to be a good role model for,” she explained. Luckily, Mrs. Obama says she’s been “fortunate enough to have a team of young people” helping her out. Of course, she’s had a team of people helping her and her family at the White House these past eight years as well, and she says she’ll miss them dearly once her husband leaves office. But there are a few things she’s definitely looking forward to in life post-White House.
