Michael Bublé Opens Up About His Family and Undergoing Vocal Cord Surgery

Michael Bublé might just be the ultimate family man. In May, the 40-year-old crooner announced that he was canceling some performances in order to undergo vocal cord surgery in June. He later revealed that “the vocal surgery went well” and he had to maintain two weeks of silence. But when The Insider With Yahoo caught up with Michael, who is launching his first fragrance, called “By Invitation,” he said that he wasn’t worried about the outcome of the procedure.

“I have two beautiful little boys and a great wife,” he said. “Having kids gave me a great sense of perspective, and the truth is I love what I do. I love making music. I love entertaining people. I love connecting with people like that, but it’s not what defines me. It’s what I do … I never feared about it.”

If something had gone wrong?

“I would become the world’s greatest juggler or something,” he said with a laugh.
