Mark Your Calendar for Daniel Craig's Official Return as James Bond

Earlier this month, rumors started circulating that Daniel Craig would reportedly return as James Bond. That's good news for us and bad news for Craig, a man who truly hates that job despite the fame and fortune it brings him.

Now, according to a report by the New York Times, Craig is officially playing Bond in the next 007 movie:

The 25th Bond film will be written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, veteran 007 writers who have worked on every film since The World Is Not Enough in 1999.

While doing press for his most recent movie, he said he would "rather break this glass and slash my wrists" than return to play 007 again. He regularly talked shit about the character, saying Bond was a misogynist who had nothing of value to teach the world. He hated it so much, he turned down a $99 million offer followed by a $150 million offer.

We can only hope the experience will be somewhat more pleasant for Craig this time.
