Lori Loughlin Looks Ageless at 52, Shares Beauty Secrets
Lori Loughlin turned 52 on Thursday and looks better than ever! The Insider With Yahoo caught up with the ageless beauty on the eve of her birthday at the Hallmark Television Critics Association red carpet, where she revealed the three secrets behind her youthful glow.
“Drink water, use your sunblock, and actually a good old-fashioned night of sleep is really golden. Get your sleep. Get your rest,” she said.
The Fuller House star also revealed how she planned on celebrating her big day. “Well, tomorrow I’m gonna be with my Full House family, which is always special and fun, and we’ll be working all day,” she noted.
The mom of two is back on set filming the second season of the ’90s reboot and is loving every minute of it. “It’s been really fun ’cause we get along so well, and we really are like a family and we have a great time together,” she said. “Today I was driving off the lot and I thought, ‘Wow, what an amazing thing to come back after so many years, and we’re back on our same soundstage that we were on so many years ago.’ It’s pretty incredible to time travel like that.”
And while most of the gang’s back together, Season 1 was noticeably missing two cast members — Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. So will they be making an appearance in Season 2?
“Oh, I don’t know,” she said. “I have no idea. I mean, they’re not on the episodes that I’ve been in so far.” But Lori did tease that there would be some surprise guest stars. “Yeah, apparently some boy band that I can’t remember the name of,” she said with a laugh.
Lori also addressed rumors that she’s following in the footsteps of her onscreen nieces, Candace Cameron Bure and Jodie Sweetin, and joining the upcoming cast of Dancing With the Stars. “Candace Cameron is so on me to try Dancing With the Stars,” she said. “But, you know, I saw how hard she worked, and then I saw Jodie — and Jodie can really dance — and I saw how hard it was on Jodie. Oh, I don’t know if I could do it.”
