Kristen Stewart Co-Wrote a Research Paper … on Artificial Intelligence?

  1. Kristen Stewart is making her directorial debut on the upcoming film Come Swim. And for research, she co-wrote a paper on “neural style transfer” which tasks a computer’s AI with redrawing an image based on a source image. Come Swim premieres at Sundance and, as described in the research paper, is “a poetic, impressionistic portrait of a heartbroken man underwater.” The teaser trailer is pretty ominous.

  2. As expected, Adele will perform a song from her hit album “25.” The singer is also nominated in five categories. She performed at last year’s Grammys too, but experienced technical difficulties. She later said on Ellen, “It threw the whole thing off. … I was so embarrassed.”

  3. Barack and Michelle’s 18-year-old daughter, Malia, will be interning with movie producer Harvey Weinstein. In 2015, Malia interned for Lena Dunham’s show Girls. Malia graduated from high school last year and will be attending Harvard in the fall.
