Kris Jenner Opens Up About Caitlyn Dating Men

What a difference a few years make.

Kris Jenner appears on Tuesday’s Ellen DeGeneres Show for the first time in four years. The host was sure to mention that the last time Kris was a guest was a Valentine’s Day episode in 2012 during which she appeared with then-husband Bruce Jenner, who’s now Caitlyn. They wasted no time getting into the transgender Olympian’s love life after Cait’s recent comments about being interested in dating men.

Saying it makes her feel, “Confusing for sure,” Kris, who’s now dating Justin Bieber’s tour manager Corey Gamble, continued, “But I think that I really want her to be happy and be really comfortable in all the things where she says she wasn’t her true, authentic self for most of her life and knew when she was 4 that she had felt like that.”

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians mastermind, 60, added, “So you don’t want somebody to be miserable or in pain or anything like that. But I think for me, just getting used to all of that that, it’s just I’m human. I have my feelings, but I try. It’s just baby steps. It’s the mourning of somebody that you feel you’re never going to see or be with again.”

When Ellen suggested it’s confusing because Caitlyn, when she was Bruce, was only with women (the I Am Cait star was married to three women, with her marriage to Kris lasting more than two decades), Kris said, “Right, that part I don’t understand.”

But she’s trying. “Well, I said to her when this first happened, ‘You’re so excited. You have to wait for the rest of us to catch up,’” Kris said. Then she put it into terms she can relate to, comparing it to alcohol. “Like, ‘We haven’t had as many drinks as you.’ Like when you’re at a party and everyone else is smashed and you’re just getting started.”

Caitlyn wasn’t the only member of the fam Kris weighed in on during her appearance. (They don’t call her momager for nothing!) She also talked about her son-in-law Kanye West’s recent Twitter tirades.

“There have been days where there should have been a no-tweeting law,” she joked. “I feel like I’ll ground him.”

Now that we’d like to see.
