When Keshia Knight Pulliam shared a shot of a sparkling diamond ring on New Year’s Eve, many thought she was announcing her engagement to boyfriend Ed Hartwell.
Turns out, the couple actually got married!

“This is definitely my husband, we’re definitely married,” Pulliam announced on her podcast, Kandidly Keshia, on Friday.
Pulliam also posted a pic of the big day on Instagram, sharing a shot of the couple on “The most AMAZING day of our life!!!”

The couple shocked even their friends and family with the nuptials, inviting them over for New Year’s Eve, then surprising them with the ceremony, “literally in the living room of our home.”
“They had no clue they were coming to a wedding,” the 36-year-old actress shared. “They thought they were just coming to a New Year’s party. It was fun.”
“It was a great time,” Hartwell agreed. “Both of our dreams came true that day.”
