Kendall Jenner Plays Dress Up for Rock the Vote

Kendall Jenner wants you to get out and vote! The 20-year-old model has teamed up again with the voter advocacy organization Rock the Vote and the Independent Journal Review for a new video, which tells the history of young people voting in the U.S., starting with the passage of the 26th amendment to the Constitution in 1971, granting 18-year-olds the right to vote.

In the vid, Kendall is dressed as a ’70s flower child, a ’90s grunge kid, and a chic ’00s businesswoman. The campaign aims to boost millennial voter registration and involvement ahead of the 2016 election, and according to Alex Skatell, founder and CEO of Independent Journal Review, the reality star is the perfect person for the job.

“We’re seeing unprecedented involvement and engagement from millennial voters in recent elections, and it’s no surprise candidates are reaching out to young voters through their preferred platforms — social media sites and online,” he said in a statement. “Kendall has a larger social media reach than each of the presidential candidates, and using her voice to encourage millennial voters is a great thing.“

This isn’t the first time she’s used her platform to support the cause. Check out the video to see Kendall’s previous collaborations with Rock the Vote and the Independent Journal Review, and tune in to The Insider With Yahoo on TV tonight for the latest in entertainment news.
