Kendall Jenner Dishes on Her ‘Normal’ Childhood: ‘I Wanted to Be a Vet’

Kendall Jenner may be the most sought-after supermodel on the planet, but in the June/July issue of Harper’s Bazaar, the 20-year-old reveals she used to have a different career in mind.

“I’ve always loved animals,” she said. “I rode horses for 10 and a half years, so I thought I was going to be a professional horseback rider and then a vet.” The reality star was even practicing for her future profession in her spare time. “I used to play these vet video games,” she revealed.

Not only were Kendall’s aspirations surprisingly normal for a kid growing up on TV, she says her upbringing was normal too.

“I feel like a lot of people say that kids who grow up in that kind of world go crazy. But it has everything to do with how your parents raise you,” she said. “I was raised so normally, or as normally as I could have been.” And just like any other kid, she knew which parent she could get her way with. “My mom was the pushover, and my dad was the strict one,” she told the mag.

While the brunette beauty has blossomed into a superstar, she insists that she still lives a pretty tame life. Check out the video to hear what she had to say, and tune in to The Insider With Yahoo on TV tonight for the latest in entertainment news.
