Kel Mitchell Announces Wife’s Pregnancy With an Awesome ‘Good Burger’ Photo
Nickelodeon star Kel Mitchell is having an extra helping of love this Valentine’s Day.
Mitchell, who starred in the network’s All That and Kenan and Kel in the ’90s, shared the news that he and wife Asia Lee are expecting their first child together. He and Lee, a rapper, have been married since 2012. The 38-year-old is the father of a 15-year-old daughter, Allure, and a son Lyric, 17, from his first marriage.

The news was happy, of course, but the best part of the announcement had to be the presentation. Mitchell and Lee sported the same paper hats that the comedian and Saturday Night Live’s Kenan Thompson, his co-star in the 1997 movie Good Burger, wore in the flick, which was a spinoff from an All That sketch.

In an October 2015 interview with People, Mitchell credited his relationship with his kids and Lee, as well as religion, with helping him find peace after struggling with drug and alcohol abuse, his divorce from his first wife, Tyisha Hampton, and suicidal thoughts after the end of Kenan and Kel. He was doing much better by then.
“I enjoy living this life,” Mitchell told the magazine. “I don’t let things frustrate or worry me anymore. I don’t do that because I have peace in my heart. I have God.”
