Kate Upton Isn't the Only Model to Cover SI Swimsuit Issue 3 Times
Kate Upton is back on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. This is the third time the blond bombshell has landed the cover of the magazine.
The 24-year-old model shared her cover shots on Instagram and said, “Thank you … for inviting me to be a part of an issue that features and celebrates beauty and confidence in every shape and size.”

Upton was named SI Swimsuit Rookie of the Year in 2011. But she came back strong and scored back-to-back covers in 2012 and 2013.
Other women who have been featured on the cover three times include Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum, and Christie Brinkley, who poses alongside her daughters in the Swimsuit Issue this year. But Australian beauty Elle Macpherson holds the record with five covers.
