Kate Hudson Reveals Her Secret Style Sauce
Kate Hudson is known for her flawless looks on the red carpet, but there’s something special about her killer style we never realized: She has a secret sauce.
“He’s very opinionated when it comes to dresses and stuff,” the star told The Insider With Yahoo of her 12-year-old son, Ryder Robinson. “He’s kind of a bit of a secret sauce.”
Hudson brought Ryder and his little brother, Bingham Bellamy, 4, to the premiere of Kung Fu Panda 3, their first red carpet experience ever. “I figured we’d all share it together,” Kate said with her usual level of chill.
Ryder, however, was pumped. “To be honest, I’m a little more excited because I got to come this time,” he said just before completely melting our hearts by adding, “But it’s always cool to see my mom on TV anyways.”
What a gent! The little Leonardo DiCaprio lookalike may be entering the family business one of these days, too, much to mom’s surprise.
“I hope so,” Ryder said when we asked if we’d be seeing him on the big screen one of these days.
“Oh my gosh! Oh, interesting,” Kate said with her jaw on the floor. Apparently, this was breaking news in her family.

Hudson’s co-star Jack Black wasn’t at all surprised when his oldest son, Samuel — who accompanied dad to the premiere — suggested stepping into his acting shoes. “When I told him we’re doing Kung Fu Panda 3, the first thing he said was, ‘Can I be in it?’” Black recalled. “He’s a natural. You know, he’s got it in the blood.”

The big premiere wasn’t just a family affair for Hudson and Black. Angelina Jolie turned up with her brood also, including Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and Knox — who all make audio cameos in the movie — as well as Vivienne (Maddox wasn’t in attendance). While Pax was sporting a brace on his foot and a set of crutches, his injury wasn’t what set tongues wagging. Those kids are growing up so fast!
