Kate Hudson Agrees That Mom Goldie Hawn’s Instagram Is ‘Totally Crazy’
Even Kate Hudson gets embarrassed by her mom on social media sometimes.
The actress was a guest on Tuesday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, and laughed when the host asked her what she thought of Goldie Hawn’s Instagram. The Private Benjamin star began sharing funny snapshots of her healthy, family-filled life in March.
“I think my mom’s Instagram posts are totally crazy — in the best way,” Hudson said. “Sometimes I think about commenting to @kevin of Instagram that he needs to take down her Instagram account."
The handle she referred to belongs to Kevin Systrom, co-founder and CEO of Instagram. Hudson revealed that her famous mother is the one and only person behind her posts, and not an assistant or social media guru sharing with Hawn’s 249,000 followers.
That’s not really surprising if you’re familiar with Hawn’s feed; it’s too delightfully eccentric to be part of some carefully planned strategy.

There were the early pics that showed exactly how she stays so fit. Like the one of her jumping on a mini-trampoline with the caption: "Have to clear my brain after watching all of this election frenzy.”
Or this one of her chugging something that is not beer: “My happy hour cocktail #greenjuice."
Later, she gave us a look at her fitness … plus her pets. It was National Puppy Day.
Then there was the time she shared that she was “trying to sneak up to welcome the ducks in my pool.” Um?
Sometimes her pics include her daughter, such as the one of a group meditation on Hudson’s birthday.

On Wednesday, Hawn took time from her busy posting schedule to make the day of a fan who happens to be Amy Schumer’s dad. The Trainwreck star shared a clip of the conversation.
It would also make an awesome repost for Hawn.
