Justin Bieber Sings Taylor Swift’s Song on Instagram and Taylor Likes It
Are Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift calling a truce? On Monday the “What Do U Mean?” singer shared a video on Instagram of himself singing Swifty’s 2006 hit “Teardrops on My Guitar” while sitting in the passenger seat of a car. Taylor noticed the possible olive branch and liked the post.
It’s been a while since the Biebs and Tay Tay were on good terms. In August 2013, it was reported that Justin’s on-again, off-again relationship with Taylor’s BFF Selena Gomez drove a wedge between their friendship.
The 26-year-old songbird has even alluded to their beef in public. In May 2013, she refused to answer a question about Justin in the Billboard Music Awards pressroom. “Can we have another question?” she said when asked what she thought of the pop star winning the Milestone Award at such a young age.
Taylor was also caught on camera backstage looking disgusted as Selena kissed Justin on the cheek. But the two weren’t always frenemies. They sat next to Selena during the American Music Awards in 2011, and the following year Justin pulled a prank on the blond beauty on MTV’s Punk’d.
