Jim Carrey Attends Ex-Girlfriend Cathriona White's Funeral in Ireland

A final farewell. Jim Carrey attended his ex-girlfriend Cathriona White’s funeral in her hometown of Cappawhite in Co Tipperary, Ireland, on Saturday, Oct. 10, and even took part in the ceremonial proceedings.
The 53-year-old actor joined hundreds of mourners at Our Lady of Fatima church in the small village on Saturday morning, wearing a pair of gold-rimmed aviator sunglasses and a dark suit.
When it came time to move the coffin from the church to its final resting place, Carrey was one of six men who lifted it on their shoulders for a slow procession through town.
White, who was 30 years old when she died of an apparent suicide, was buried next to the body of her father, Pat, at the local cemetery.

The pretty makeup artist’s family — including her mother, stepmother, brother James, sister Lisa, half sisters Sarah and Larina, and stepbrother Tadgh were also in attendance, according to the Daily Mail.
Later that day, Carrey shared a sweet post in remembrance of White on Twitter.

White’s body was discovered at her Sherman Oaks, Calif., home on Monday, Sept. 28, surrounded by bottles of prescription pills and a note addressed to Carrey.

The pair dated on-and-off since 2012, and seemed to have reconciled earlier this year after they were spotted holding hands together in NYC.
Just days before her tragic death, Carrey and White were even spotted out in Malibu for her birthday dinner.
“Jim was generous to her and took really good care of her,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly.
