Jessica Alba Opens Up About the Tattoo She Got After Breaking Up With a ‘Famous Actor’
Jessica Alba’s got ink.
The actress stopped by The Late Show on Thursday to talk about her work with the Honest Company, but host Stephen Colbert was quick to notice a tattoo on her wrist.
“That one’s called ‘My First Breakup,’” she said, pointing out the body art. “It’s lotus in Sanskrit. It means the manifestation of spiritual beauty.” Referring to her ex as “this guy,” Alba went on to explain why the breakup sparked her desire to get inked.
“He was really anti-tattoos, and I felt like after I broke up with him, I, like, found myself again,” she laughed. “It’s, like, unnecessary to talk about this. He’s like a famous actor.”
While the brunette beauty didn’t directly name the former flame she was referring to, it’s possible that it’s her ex-fiancé, Michael Weatherly. The two met on the set of the TV series Dark Angel and got engaged in 2001. They split in 2003, and she went on to meet her husband, Cash Warren.
But this isn’t the only breakup tat that Jessica has.
