Jennifer Lopez Poses With ‘Protect Yo Heart’ Graffiti After Casper Smart Split

It’s hard not to read into this! Jennifer Lopez returned to Instagram for the first time since her breakup with Casper Smart and posted a message about her heart.

On location in NYC shooting scenes for Shades of Blue, the 47-year-old actress, singer, and professional heartbreaker struck a pose, in costume as her NYPD detective character, by sidewalk graffiti that said, “Protect Yo Heart.” Her body language? Pure confidence.

The Bronx native has endured more than her fair share of breakups, including three marriages and an engagement (long live Bennifer!), so her latest split with the backup dancer (and personal assistant stand-in), whom she has been dating on and off since October 2011, is just another bump in the road. She’ll soon get over it, if she isn’t already, and come out looking better than ever, ’cause that’s what J.Lo does.

However, we’ll see if La Lopez actually cuts the cord with ol’ Beau this time. Let’s not forget that she broke up with him in 2014 as well (after he was photographed leaving a peep show/adult toy store), but “Bear,” who will appear in the upcoming Dirty Dancing remake, soon wormed his way back into her heart. Further, TMZ reports that they are still talking although she considers the relationship done. According to the website, their breakup stemmed from Casper opting to go to Vegas with friends for the Conor McGregor/Nate Diaz fight instead of going to a Hamptons fundraiser with the mom of two.

Lopez isn’t the only celebrity fan of the “Protect Yo Heart” movement, created by street artist UncuttArt (who reposted Lopez’s Instagram). Miranda Lambert posed by it somewhere else in the city shortly after her divorce from Blake Shelton.
