Jennifer Lawrence and Director Darren Aronofsky Take Their Romance Public
It’s definitely on between Jennifer Lawrence, 26, and director Darren Aronofsky, 47.
The Oscar-winning actress was photographed kissing the 21 years-older Aronofsky on Wednesday during a NYC dinner date. People reported last month the two had become romantic after working together on an untitled drama scheduled for release next year.
“They’ve been hanging out and are casually dating,” a friend of the actress told the magazine.

Aronofsky is best known for movies such as Black Swan and The Wrestler. He’s also the former husband of another of Hollywood’s leading ladies, Rachel Weisz, with whom he shares 10-year-old son Henry.
Lawrence’s list of exes include Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin, her beau for about a year beginning in August 2014, and her X-Men: First Class co-star Nicholas Hoult, whom she dated from 2011 to 2014.
This time last year, Lawrence was complaining to Vogue that she had a tough time finding men to date.

“No one ever asks me out,” she said in the November 2015 issue. “I am lonely every Saturday night. Guys are so mean to me. I know where it’s coming from, I know they’re trying to establish dominance, but it hurts my feelings. I’m just a girl who wants you to be nice to me. I am straight as an arrow. I feel like I need to meet a guy, with all due respect, who has been living in Baghdad for five years who has no idea who I am.”
Aronofsky does’t quite fit the description, but he does seem to be someone who can handle having an A-lister on his arm.
