Jason Sudeikis Reveals He’s Constantly Mistaken for Ed Helms
Jason Sudeikis stopped by Conan on Wednesday and dished on his celebrity doppelgänger.
“Ed Helms and I get confused quite a bit,” the Horrible Bosses actor told the late-night host, recalling one especially awkward moment with a fan who thought she was getting her picture taken with The Hangover star. While attending the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington, D.C., Sudeikis said he was approached by a woman who wanted a photo. When the actor introduced himself, she seemed a bit surprised. “Did you think I was Ed Helms?” he asked as they posed for a snap. “Yes, but it’s OK,” she said. “You look enough like him."
Sudeikis isn’t the only star who’s been mistaken for another celeb. In 2014, Amy Adams revealed her look-alike to Vanity Fair. “I get Isla Fisher all the time, still… When I’m with Isla, we both look at one another and say, ‘I get it, but I don’t get it,’” she laughed. “But just like I tell her, it could be a lot worse. I could be mistaken for a lot worse people."
