Jason Momoa takes being a manly man to the next level.

During a break from shooting Netflix’s Frontier up north in Newfoundland, the 37-year-old actor (figuratively) let down his man bun by drinking beer and throwing axes, as you do if you are Jason Momoa. The long-haired hunk, who’s best known for his role as Khal Drogo on Game of Thrones and is set to play Aquaman in 2017’s Justice League, took studly to the max by nailing the bull’s-eye after casually taking a swig of his frothy beer.

Watch it all go down here and just try to be unimpressed:

With ax in hand, Momoa walks toward the camera, stopping to grab a beer on the way. “Hey, hi, I’m Jason Momoa,” he says. “I love beer and throwing tomahawks — and if you’re in Newfoundland, you should come down to Jack Axes.”

After nailing it, he turns back to the camera and says, “Yeah, motherf***er,” like a total boss.

Jack Axes is in St. John’s, the capital of the province. The star, who is married to Lisa Bonet (though we aren’t sure how often they see each other because his career is en fuego), is the star of the series, which is about the Canadian fur trade in the 18th century, and production took place there as well as Nova Scotia and other spots up north.

Momoa’s love of beer isn’t new. He loves visiting breweries, and the folks at Guinness created his very own brand of beer, called Mano Brew. He also sent GoT fans into a frenzy when he grabbed a pint with the show’s executive producers, David Benioff and D.B. Weiss.

Interestingly, beer also helps to explain his trademark eyebrow scar. Momoa told the New York Post that in 2009, he was in a bar when he was hit in the eye with a pint glass. It shattered, and it led to him needing 140 stitches. While that would end some careers, the star, who landed GoT two years later, said it boosted his because he was no longer seen as a “pretty boy.”

We’d argue that there’s still a lot of pretty there — and we’re thankful for it.
