Jaden Smith Stands for Hours as Part of Shia LaBeouf’s Anti-Trump Art Piece

Shia LaBeouf is more than just an actor; he is also quite the artist. His latest art exhibit is a video live stream titled “He Will Not Divide Us.”

HeWillNotDivide.Us launched on Inauguration Day, Jan. 20, as a movement against the Trump presidency.

The first celebrity to show support was Jaden Smith. The 18-year-old appeared in front of the Museum of the Moving Image in New York City. Shia and Jaden can be seen during the stream, standing in front of a camera mounted on a wall.

The site will be live 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for all of Donald Trump’s time as president — so at least four years. Participants are encouraged to speak the phrase “He will not divide us” for as long as they want. Jaden Smith stood there for several hours this morning.

Shia has been known to do some strange things for the sake of art. Last year, he released a project called #Elevate. LaBeouf streamed a 24-hour elevator ride in England with a group of people.

Then there’s #Allmymovies, where he watched, literally, all his movies. From Transformers to Surf’s Up to Indiana Jones and everything in between.

And who can forget that moment when Shia walked around with a brown paper bag over his head at the Berlin Film Festival? The art exhibit was called Hashtag #Iamsorry.
