Is Bette Midler the Sassiest Broad on Twitter?
Bette Midler may be 70 years old but she knows how to Tweet with the best of them. On Monday, the legendary performer took aim at Kim Kardashian for posting a throwback pic of herself in the buff to Instagram.
“Kim Kardashian tweeted a nude selfie today. If Kim wants us to see a part of her we’ve never seen, she’s gonna have to swallow the camera,” she wrote.
While many found the tweet hilarious, Kardashian was not impressed. “Hey @BetteMidler I know it’s past your bedtime but if you’re still up and reading this send nudes #justkidding,” the reality star responded. But she wasn’t done yet.
“Hey @BetteMidler I really didn’t want to bring up how you sent me a gift awhile back trying to be a fake friend then come at me #dejavu,” she added moments later.
Not to be outdone, the queen of sass shut down the 35-year-old like a pro. “@KimKardashian: I never tried to fake friend you. Looks like anyone can take a selfie but not everyone can take a joke,” Midler retorted.
