Inside the L.A. Estate Britney Spears Is Selling for $9M

Louisiana native Britney Spears has been living a seriously L.A. lifestyle for a long time. The singer is now selling the lavish Thousand Oaks, Calif., mansion that she’s called home the past few years for $8.995 million, Zillow reports.
The five-bedroom, seven-bathroom residence was built in 2010 and measures 8,465 square feet. While those numbers are impressive, what really makes the house special are the luxurious touches. Ceilings are high and beamed, and the doorways are arched throughout the Spanish style home.
Spears, who bought the place in November 2012 for $6.7 million, also enjoyed a home theater room; a tub with jets and a massive shower in her bathroom; and two islands in her kitchen, which we assume her chef truly appreciated. And the closet is large enough to make even Mariah Carey swoon!
Outside, the property looks like a four-star resort, thanks to an outdoor kitchen under a covered patio and an outdoor fireplace. Of course, there’s a pool and a guarded gate — essentials for any place a celeb calls home.
Spears has reportedly decided she needs more space, so she found a much bigger abode four miles away.
