Idris Elba Went Kickboxing and Of Course He Knocked Someone Out
Every little thing that Idris Elba does is a whole lot cooler than the rest of us. This time around, he was showing off his kickboxing skills in a fight. Watching him, you wouldn't believe it was his debut competition.
The 44-year-old actor, DJ, and stylish man about town fought at York Hall in London to a crowd that included Madonna who filmed the action. Elba won the fight with a knockout after one minute and 55 seconds. Not bad.
The actor, who may possibly be the next Bond, has been training for several months for a three part documentary entitled Fighter, which sees him learning how to kickbox.
The series, entitled Idris Elba: Fighter, is expected to air early next year.
