Hilary Duff Blasts Instagram Trolls Who Suggest Kiss Photo With 4-Year-Old Son Was Sexual

Minds out of the gutter, people. That’s Hilary Duff’s message to some of the trolls following her on Instagram.

The Younger star, 29, took her 4-year-old son, Luca Comrie, to Disneyland on Monday with friends. You know: The happiest place on earth. He got some Mickey ears. He rode on Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters with his buddies. He gave his mom a kiss outside of It’s a Small World.

It was that kiss that some of Duff’s followers deemed inappropriate — and they told her so in the photo comments. There was “famous_and_celebrities_” who wrote, “I don’t want to sound rude or mean but they look like they’re making out.” Someone named “bliss088” posted, “Never knew hilary duffs a hillbilly . say no to incest.” Another comment came from juicy_j_12: “Nobody is saying don’t kiss ur kids, it just looks awkward with mommy and son closing their eyes while they kiss.”

The comments were many, and Duff took note. On Tuesday, she posted a followup to her post telling haters to unfollow her if they didn’t like what they saw. “For anyone commenting that a kiss on the lips with my four year old is ‘inappropriate,’ go ahead and click a quick unfollow with your warped minds and judgment.”

Her snappy reply received 123,000 thousand likes in two hours, showing that her real fans were behind her — in force. It also showed she’s not taking any crap these days. During an appearance on The Talk earlier this month, she opened up about being criticized for being a young mom.

“I feel like I was judged for having a baby too soon and getting married too soon and now I’m pigeonholed for being a mom,” she said. “But then, lots of women in this industry that don’t have a child yet are judged for not having a child, and it’s crazy.”

Duff co-parents her son with retired hockey player Mike Comrie, whom she split with in January 2014. Earlier this month, she separated from her personal trainer boyfriend, Jason Walsh, after five months of dating.
