Here's What Happens When You Falsely Claim You're Dating Rihanna
If you were dating Rihanna, you would know it. If you are not, and you say that you are, you will left for trash right on Front Street. Which is exactly what happened to Memphis Grizzlies forward Matt Barnes.
Barnes has been moving in on Rihanna for three years now. It started with some Twitter flirting in 2012 and then several months ago, Barnes posted a photo of the singer on Instagram, calling her his #WCW (Woman Crush Wednesday). This, however, is just your garden variety crush stuff and clearly didn’t bother Rihanna too much.
That all changed when TMZ asked Barnes about their relationship, to which he replied that they are “just past the crush stage.”
The Bad Gal was not taking this one in stride and absolutely eviscerated the basketball star on Instagram, posting a screenshot of the TMZ interview and writing, “#bishwhere #thedevilisaliar #shesnotthatintoyou #shesnotintoyouatall #shesneverevenmetyou #thisactuallyhurtmyfeelings #defamationofcharacter.”
Barnes apparently saw the post as well, commenting “Hahaaa wow,” as captured in a screenshot.

Well it looks like that relationship is over before it even began.
Rihanna has also been linked recently to Formula One racer Lewis Hamilton and French soccer player Karim Benzema. Hamilton and Rihanna were recently in Barbados together for the Kadooment Day parade.
