Justin Bieber’s Latest Pet Drama

Justin Bieber is back in the news for his troubled relationship with animals. Last August, the pop star introduced us to his adorable new chow chow puppy, Todd. Apparently, Justin tired of the cute pooch and pawned him off on one of his backup dancers. Now, it appears as though Todd is sick and needs help.

Todd’s new owner, C.J. Salvador, just created a GoFundMe page for the dog. He posted: “Todd is a 7-month-old chow chow born with a birth defect called ‘severe hip dysplasia.’ Long story short, by the time he turns 1 he won’t be able to walk, run, let alone play.” He goes on to explain that Todd needs a very “specialized surgery” or he will have to be put down. The fundraising goal of $8,000 was met in less than a day. However, there has been no indication that Bieber contributed to the cause.

Sadly, this isn’t the first time Justin has been careless with an animal. Back in 2013, he famously adopted and then abandoned his monkey, OG Mally. He also gave his hamster, Pac, away to a fan at one of his concerts. And then there was Tuts the cat, who hasn’t been seen since last October.

Here’s hoping Bieber is not allowed to own any more animals — and that Todd gets better soon!
