Hayden Christensen joins Bruce Willis crime thriller First Kill

Hayden Christensen has joined the cast of Bruce Willis' latest crime thriller, First Kill, EW has confirmed.

The film marks the first in a new two-picture deal the 35-year-old inked with Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films, which previously released the Christensen-starring drama 90 Minutes in Heaven in 2015.

In First Kill, Christensen will play the father of a young boy held hostage by a bank robber whom the boy witnessed shooting a fellow thief while on a hunting trip. Willis will play a police chief who suspects Christensen's character had something to do with the initial heist.

Steven C. Miller is set to direct the action flick from a script written by Nick Gordon. Emmett/Furla/Oasis is set to produce the film as well as handling financing and distribution through a deal with Lionsgate Premiere. Randall Emmett and George Furla of Emmett/Furla/Oasis are producing First Kill alongside Brookstreet Pictures' Trevor Matthews, with Barry Brooker and Stan Wertlieb executive-producing the project.

A release date has yet to be confirmed.
