Grey's Anatomy Sneak Peek: Meredith Tries to Warn Nathan About Maggie's Dating Intentions

Well ... this is awkward.

In a exclusive sneak peek at Thursday's episode of Grey's Anatomy, Meredith ( Ellen Pompeo) tries to warn Nathan (Martin Henderson) that her sister, Maggie, (Kelly McCreary) is going to ask him out. Nathan clearly doesn't understand her intentions and thinks Meredith is just acting possessive.

The clip begins with Meredith, Owen, ( Kevin McKidd) Nathan and Maggie enjoying a housewarming party at Owen's place. Maggie and Nathan were having an intimate conversation before Meredith and Owen decide to walk over and pull them apart.

"Have you had the tour yet? Owen gives a great tour," Meredith tells them.



"Yeah, I helped him move in," Maggie responds, but then asks Nathan to join her.

Meredith quickly lies and tells her sister that she needs to talk to Nathan about a patient.

After Owen whisks Maggie away, Meredith drops the bomb.

"Maggie is going to ask you out," she tells Nathan. "On a date ... she wants to date you. And you are going to be nice and say 'No.' "

"Oh, so she doesn't know that you're madly in love with me," Nathan asks.

"I am not madly in love with you," she says.

"Oh, you're close," he replies.

"I'm close to hating you," jokes Meredith.

Nathan then suggest the pair make out on the couch to send a clear message that they're seeing each other.

"You're disgusting," she tells him.

"And yet you're falling for me," Nathan quips back.

Grey's Anatomy airs Thursdays (8 p.m. ET) on ABC.
