Gina Rodriguez’s Dog Died But the Good News Is All Dogs Go to Heaven

Gina Rodriguez is mourning the death of her dog, Ted, on Instagram.

“Hardest thing in the entire world was saying goodbye to my Ted today,” she wrote. “Not sure how to process or handle you not being around anymore. In complete shock hoping anything will make this better. I love you buddy. Forever.”

But comfort is available. If Gina would think back to her childhood, she’d remember an important lesson Burt Reynolds and Dom DeLuise taught us all: All Dogs Go to Heaven.

Don’t worry Gina, Ted’s in a better place.

In her post, Rodriguez didn’t say what happened to Ted, but the post’s wording implies that Ted had to be put down. Rodriguez has posted several photos of herself with Ted on Instagram throughout the past couple of months; in a previous post she wrote that Ted was 14 years old.
