Gigi Hadid and Joe Jonas Split After 5 Months of Dating

Say it ain’t so, G.I. Joe!
Gigi Hadid and Joe Jonas have broken up, a source close to the model confirms to The Insider With Yahoo. The pair had been together since late May.
“It was not a dramatic breakup,” the source says. “They both were too busy and are working a lot the next few months. Before they dated, they were already good friends and they will definitely stay friendly. No bad blood there. It was amicable.”
No word on who initiated the split, but we hope if Joe did the deed he was more sympathetic than he was with Taylor Swift. Remember when he dumped her during a 27-second phone call?
Over the weekend, Gigi attended Heidi Klum’s Halloween party — dressed as Sandy from Grease (one of our favorite celebrity costumes) — without Joe. Kendall Jenner’s BFF, who will be walking the runway in the upcoming Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, was accompanied by two males at the party, though our eyewitness says it looked platonic.

Gigi and Joe, who started dating after her latest breakup with Cody Simpson, had been christened "G.I. Joe” by their pal, actress Cara Delevingne. It was a couple name they embraced, with the blonde even wearing a “G.I.” T-shirt while out with her beau.
Gigi and Joe made their red carpet debut just last month at a Lyme disease event where her mother, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’s Yolanda Foster, was honored. They downplayed their appearance with Joe declining to speak with reporters on the red carpet so as not to divert the focus of the event from Yolanda, who has been stricken with the disease.
They’re so young (she’s 20 and he’s 26) that it’s no big deal that Gigi and Joe have gone their separate ways. We’ll just really miss photos of them dressed like this. It was too much — in a good way:
