Freeze! Celebrities Take the Mannequin Challenge
If the country can agree on one thing right now, it’s that everyone loves the Mannequin Challenge. The Internet craze in which people strike a pose and hold it, like something you might see in a department store window, has captivated many, including Beyoncé, Garth Brooks, Britney Spears, and Ellen DeGeneres.
The trend might have reached its height when some of the biggest stars in the world performed it at the White House. Tom Hanks, Ellen DeGeneres, Diana Ross, and others all participated in a clip Tracee Ellis Ross shared of the gang attending the annual Presidential Medal of Freedom ceremony.

Noticeably, the soundtrack of the footage is hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd’s “Black Beatles,” a song used in many Mannequin Challenge videos that name-checks both McCartney and his late bandmate John Lennon.
