Faith Hill Drops Off Daughter Maggie at College After Epic 2-Week Cross-Country Road Trip

It’s the end of the road for Faith Hill’s epic cross-country trip with her daughter Maggie McGraw. She dropped off the teen at college on Thursday — and, yes, many tears were shed.

The country singer, 49, has been documenting the sweet mother-daughter adventure, which kicked off about two weeks ago — with a sing-along to Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” — from their home in Nashville. They stopped in Texas, New Mexico, and California on their way to her undisclosed West Coast school, where she’ll be studying marine biology. The trip came to an end on Thursday, when Hill said goodbye to her middle daughter.

“Couldn’t show our faces,” Hill captioned this photo of a foot and a shadow. “Way too many tears. Overwhelming pride, joy and yes, a little sadness. Cheers to all the moms and dads who did the same this year, it’s an accomplishment for all!!!!”

Hill’s husband of nearly 20 years, Tim McGraw, also posted about the milestone for the family of five. It’s a photo of the teen leaping from a cliff. “She’s going to soar,” noted the proud dad.

Over the past few weeks, Hill’s Instagram has documented her fun travels with her mini-me. Of course, it started here with their “Bad Blood” cover.

They spent some time in Marfa, Texas, where burritos were on the menu.

A must stop while in Marfa…. Just ask Maggie. #????

While there, they stayed at El Cosmico, an 18-acre trailer, tent, and teepee hotel and campground.

Thanks to all the great people at El Cosmico. It was a trip!! We loved it.

Then it was on to Albuquerque, staying at Los Poblanos Historic Inn and Organic Farm — a great place for a silly selfie.

Wednesday, which was Hill’s birthday, they were in Pebble Beach, Calif., at one of her “most favorite places,” the singer shared. She went on to call it “a spiritual place that has always made me cry like a baby. Just ask my children!”

Maggie, who Tim said is a “free diver” and plans to study marine biology at school, communed with nature along the way.

Stopping so Maggie can save a Texas turtle crossing the road. #????

While the dynamic at the Hill-McGraw home is changing — both Maggie and aspiring singer Gracie, 19, are in college while Audrey, 15, is a freshman in high school — things seem as strong as ever between Faith and Tim. He posted a sweet tribute to his ladylove for her birthday. While the photo was pretty hilarious (that hair!), the sentiment was sweet. In it he gushed about how lucky he felt to get to “be with her for the rest of my life.”

Can those two adopt us?
