Emma Watson Is Hiding Copies of The Handmaid’s Tale All Over Paris

[MUSIC]

Forget the Louvre and Eiffel Tower.

If you’re in Paris right now, there’s only one thing to look out for: The Handmaid’s Tale. Thanks to the powers of actress, humanitarian, and voracious reader Emma Watson, bibliophiles around the City of Love are running around searching for copies that Watson has sprinkled around town.

“I’m hiding copies of The Handmaid’s Tale in Paris!” she wrote on Twitter, also sharing the news in French. No, you likely won’t find her literally walking around, seeing how she can secret a paperback book inside Notre-Dame Cathedral. Instead, she’s teamed up with The Book Fairies, an organization that does just that.

Of course, the read is also the latest in her book club, Our Shared Shelf.

So are people finding them? You bet. They come wrapped in a nice green Book Fairies ribbon along with two stickers, one from the organization, one from Watson’s book club.

As of this morning, they’ve hit Place de la Concorde, the Arc de Triomphe, and Place l'Hôtel de Ville. And people are finding them:
