Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield Break Up
It’s over — for good this time. Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield have split after three years together, a source confirms to Us Weekly. The now exes, who took a break this past April, called it quits a couple months ago.

“They still have a lot of love for one another and they are on good terms with each another and remain close,” the insider tells Us of the Amazing Spider-Man co-stars. “It just wasn’t working.“
Stone and Garfield took a brief break from their romance earlier this year after they had been fighting a lot, another source told Us at the time, explaining that Garfield’s Martin Scorsese’s flick Silence was keeping him particularly busy filming in Taiwan at the time. Weeks later, however, the two reunited and were spotted holding hands and eating pancakes together in May.

Stone and Garfield met on set of 2012’s The Amazing Spider-Man and always kept mum about their relationship.
“I never talk about this stuff for this exact reason — because it’s all so speculative and baseless,” Stone told the Wall Street Journal when she was asked about Garfield after their brief break. “I understand the interest in it completely, because I’ve had it, too. But it’s so special to me that it never feels good to talk about, so I just continually don’t talk about it.”
