Elon Musk Thinks AI is "Vastly" More Dangerous Than North Korea
Though our schedules are already packed with being scared of nukes, being scared of Nazis, and being scared of our president, Elon Musk wants us to pencil in more time to be scared of artificial intelligence.
If you're not concerned about AI safety, you should be. Vastly more risk than North Korea. pic.twitter.com/2z0tiid0lc

Musk, who's previously invoked the image of "robots walking down the street killing people," issued this latest warning in response to news that a bot created by OpenAI- a non-profit that counts Microsoft, Peter Thiel, and Musk himself among its backers- is the first ever to beat real-live people at eSports.
Musk thinks it's likely we're all living in a Matrix-style computer simulation anyway, but he followed up his warnings with more calls for regulation, which will surely be heeded by the regulation-loving Trump administration.
Nobody likes being regulated, but everything (cars, planes, food, drugs, etc) that's a danger to the public is regulated. AI should be too.
