Duck Dynasty’s Reed Robertson Marries Brighton Thompson in Romantic Outdoor Wedding
Duck Dynasty star Reed Robertson is married! He tied the knot to his longtime girlfriend, Brighton Thompson, in a rustic wedding that was traditional, whimsical and ridiculously romantic.
The two exchanged vows under a huge floral archway in a field in Monroe, Louisiana on Saturday before partying at their outdoor reception. Thompson wore a princess-style gown with a lace bodice, cap-sleeves and full tulle skirt and kept her beauty look classic to match with a low chignon accented with autumnal flowers and a clean makeup look.
And thanks to Thompson’s mom, who captured Robertson’s face when he saw his bride walking down the aisle, you can say he definitely approved. (Break out the tissues…)
As for the groom, Robertson wore a navy suit from The Black Tux with brown shoes by Gordon Rush.
Bridesmaids (who included Robertson’s cousin, Sadie Robertson!) wore simple floor-length, blush-tone dresses with varying necklines.

On Instagram the new bride gushed about her husband saying, “Our wedding was the most fun party OF MY LIFE. So excited to start this new adventure with my new husband
.”
And according to Robertson’s Instagram those adventures happened right on day one: “Brighton and I’s first day of marriage has been, well, interesting. Got kicked off our flight at 5 am, ate Popeyes for lunch, saw a terrible movie, and missing 2 days of our honeymoon because of it and I couldn’t be more thrilled to adventure with you Brighton. Today and for the rest of my life.”
The two got engaged last year on Christmas Eve during a family trip to N.Y.C. He popped the question with a 3-carat diamond that’s an heirloom from Thompson’s family, but the two designed a custom setting for it together.
