David and Melissa Fumero Welcome Son Enzo

It was a good day for Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Melissa Fumero.

Thursday afternoon — just an hour before it was announced that her hit Fox sitcom was renewed for a fourth season — the actress and her husband, Power star David Fumero, welcomed their first child, son Enzo.

Born at approximately 1:30 p.m., Enzo weighed in at 7 lbs., 15 oz. and measured 19.5 inches long with “a lot of dark hair,” the couple tells People exclusively.

The sitcom star, 33, announced that she was pregnant on Instagram in November.

“Amazing time at our surprise baby shower yesterday. Oh, PS — I’m pregnant,” she wrote.

She and David, 43, revealed the sex of their baby on the way to People earlier this month.

“My husband and I have been together a long time,” Fumero, who wed her former One Life to Live costar in 2007, said. “It’s very special for us and we’re just really happy and excited.”
